It's a small place, but rich in history... tippu's history stays here. This place has got temples, rivers and attractive monuments to visit...amazing place, wonderful experience.

Ranganath swamy temple is a very ancient temple situated 15km away from Mysore. Four entrances of hall leads to the garbagruha of the god where the huge statue of ranganath swamy will be seen lying on a canopy( feels like the 1 in dashavatara movie) . This is a little short of Mysore driving down from Bangalore. The Sriranganathar temple at Srirangapatna makes us feel the divine presence of lord. There was not much crowd in the temple when we visited at around 10AM on a Saturday. A place for Historical and having lot of traditional values and also where Aadhi ranga (Lord sri Vishnu stays) One who wants his blessing and to be a well in life, I think we must visit once

This city is rich with temple, monuments......This is place of tipu sultan where in we can find glimps of architecture... it best for bird watchers and photographers....

Srirama patnam is famous With the temple named after sriranganatha swamy (Vishnu temple),near the bank of Kaveri.temple sculpture is good, one of the famous temple in Karnataka.worth visiting.peaceful temple. Nimishamba temple is famous here.(Parvati temple).
