Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our rickshaw ride through Old Delhi dropped us off outside the Gauri Shankar Temple. This hugely important temple is so peaceful and quiet, especially when compared to the hustle and bustle of Chandi Chowk outside. Take some time to drink in the atmosphere but remember, although photographs can be taken of the exterior, taking photographs inside is not allowed.

Gauri shankar temple is located in chandni chowk, near red fort in new delhi. This is one of the old temples in delhi. I visit the temple whenever I am in old delhi. There is a feeling of peace inside the temple which I really enjoy. Must visit if you are in old delhi.

It’s located in the heart of the city, Chandni Chowk, old Delhi. The temple is huge and obviously crowded all the time. The temple is of goddess Parvati and god shiva, and very famous! Lots of believers/ deities visit the temple.

I visited this temple on the day of Shivaratri in 2017. It was very busy at all times. The celebrations were very impressive as were the little altars and the decorations. The worshipers was very friendly and welcoming. I particularly liked the massive statue of Shiva in a cave.

The temple is dedicated to Shivji and Parvatiji. It is easily reached by Delhi Metro. Red Fort Metro station is the nearest metro station. A Jain temple named Shri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir is also nearby. You can combine this place with chandni chowk visit.

Located in the heart of city chandni chowk. Very beautiful crafted and eye catching idols of god and goddess are stationed in temple. Crowded place due to importance of huge temple and faith in god fearing followers.

Another very old and beautiful temple to visit. Mostly crowded during all days. Best time to visit is during festival to view nice decorations.
