Fantastic site to visit - unimaginable architechture, great theme show, diaorama and I max presentation. If any tourist, irresepctive of his religion or creed, has half a day to spare, this is a must see. It is one man's creation in five years totally with voluntary support. A monument which makes every indian proud!

This modern piece of art will leave you breathless as you take in all the stone carvings that were made by hand over a span of five years. After you finish your walk of the huge gardens, you can sit by the water and relax

This place is gorgeous and beautifully maintained. As per normal men and women are in different ques. You have to take your shoes off it's very clean but worth taking socks if you like. You cannot take cameras, phones, gum, mints inside. Only water. There is an area where there are men taking pictures 130 rupees for 1 picture. Best... More

You start your visit with long lines for security. You can't bring anything in, including mobile phones. Once through the rather intrusive body search and questioning, it is a huge complex. The architecture is puzzling, apparently it includes a number of different Indian temple complex styles. Worth a visit.

Akshardham is a bit out of the way but worth it if you want to see this amazing piece of hand built architecture. The lines are long and parts of the place feels 'Disney-esque'. This is not a place to do quickly so make sure you have time and also enjoy the food at the restaurant.

This is one of the must see places when one visits Delhi. Built on a 100 acre plot the temple structure is really breathtaking. It is geared for thousands of visitors there at any given time with excellent facilities and well laid-out attractions. The signage could be better as we ended up missing the sequence of visiting museums because there... More

Well worth a visit, allow plenty of time, a lot to see here. Be aware of restrictions on what you can enter the complex with.

This temple is more like an attraction than a place of worship but offers a good half day entertainment. It includes an indoor boat ride through the history of India. Also some excellent settings and narratives about the life of Swaminarayan.
