Fantastic site to visit - unimaginable architechture, great theme show, diaorama and I max presentation. If any tourist, irresepctive of his religion or creed, has half a day to spare, this is a must see. It is one man's creation in five years totally with voluntary support. A monument which makes every indian proud!

Although only 13 years old, and already visited by Charles and Camilla, the Indians like to dub it as the eighth wonder of the world. The entrance security is very tight and it would pay you to leave all your belongings in any transport you have used to arrive. There is no photography whatsoever. The inside of the temple is absolutely... More

Go in the evening and watch the light/sound/fountain show, you won't be disappointed, very impressive. Get the metro there as it's cheap, clean, and not too busy even in rush hour (tubes back home in London are worse!). Don't bring camera or phone, bring water though as they let us take that inside. There's food to buy in the fast food... More

This place is stunning in its beauty and amazing display of resources. Yet, it somehow feels not genuine. But, by all means, you should go if you are in Delhi.

We have been here 3 years before and i still remember that it was one of the best experience of my life till today. So soothing, calm environment it was during that time, no rush, havoc that usually happens in these big temples and by far the laser show and one short movie about Swaminarayan was truly mesmarising!! A must... More

This place was just breathtaking, and the fact that entry was free, its definitely worth a visit, souveniers and photos and what not were very cheap. It was a shame that no phones or cameras are allowed in the vicinity, but overall a great place to relax

Breathtaking sights and amazingly intricate carvings. One of the best things I have seen in India. The exhibitions are interesting, although maybe not worth the time if you have a driver and are in a rush.

The size and intricate carvings were mind blowing. And the number of figures on walls, columns and inside domes. The entire massive complex was so clean. The gardens were pristine. There were so many extras to see and do, we did not have the time. Some things had a fee. Some have described this as kitsch, but to my untrained... More
