I had no expectations as to the standard of the museum, but was pleasantly surprised. We had a train ride outside, passing many different trains. We went inside and saw a great exhibition covering the history of train travel in India. Great photos and memorabilia. We then went outside to get a closer view of the trains. Very nice place to visit. But difficult to find the place. It was very hot outside. The Museum was clean and my son enjoyed playing in the place.

The collection of actual railway stock is impressive but the layout of the museum could be significantly improved upon, The toy-train ride is a must do especially for children and the actual museum has a lot of interesting facts about the Indian Railways.

This is a little hard to find. Near the Embassy. Inexpensive to get in. The history of the rails in India. About 1 1/2 hours. Guarded well in that there are a lot of kids around.

A great place to learn about indian railway history. CHildren will love to see the old locos and coaches. The intractive quiz would be nice for children. Food variety needs to improve. The place can surely be converted into a great attraction.

The place is very nice clean, Heritage feeling seeing Old trains, made in the year 1890 onwards. The ticket price is 200/- (Include 2 adults + 2 Kids) on weekends. The Joy train ride is also a feel good factor. Must carry Own water, Good camera phone. They also have a restaurant in side for Lunch, but slightly over priced... More
