Spread across 90 acres or 3,60,000 m2, Lodi Gardens or Lodhi Gardens is a huge garden area that has the tombs of Mohammed Shah and Sikandar Lodi while Bara Gumbad and Shisha Gumbad add to its architectural charm. The three domed mosque adjacent to Bara...More

We really enjoyed our time at this park. It is well maintained, has some interesting buildings to wander. We enjoyed sitting and watching the people in the shade of the trees and also loved the masala tea that a young vendor bought to us out...More

Parking is a big issue and its crowded on weekends specially if weather is nice. Good open park/garden to gather for picnic and spend time but not much for tourists to see at this place.

Large gardens with a fair bit of history thrown in. If you're going for the first time do read up a bit on the monuments you'll find there. Take a yoga mat along if you plan to do some asanas, or just go for a...More

A lovely place to walk around. Can spend hours here. Nice restaurant in one corner - can be difficult to find as the entrance is not in the gardens but from the street.

I love Lodhi Park and spend most of my off days there. Whether I am having a picnic with friends or want to run around the running track. It is beautiful, clean and refreshing. Highly suggest visiting the park on a beautiful day!

After experiencing the chaos of Delhi, the gardens were a welcome reprieve. There are many buildings on the property as well which are well worth visiting.

Walked from Taj Viventa Ambassador Hotel to Lodi, easy walk down tree lined street, and clean! You pass the Khan Market en route so a good day out. Good birding and lovely gardens with ancient fort.

There are sellers in the gardens but basically you take a picnic for the park yourself I would suggest.

There is no prior permission or booking required to arrange a get-together at this site. Instead it would be a good idea to do so in such an open area where people of any age can enjoy. We have done such meetings many a... More
