A very popular temple in South Delhi. You must visit during Hindu Festival days. Every day thousands of devotees and tourists stand in a long que and patiently wait to have Darshan of the Daity and feel blessed and wonderful.

The temple complex is located in south Delhi and is approachable by Delhi Metro.
The temples are beautifully constructed and attracts lot of tourists particularly those who believe in Hinduism.

This weekend we visited this temple . It was very nice trip There are several temples of different Goddess are in one place.This place is very less crowded, well managed and peaceful. Its very near to the famous historical sculpture Qutub Minar.c

It is by far the biggest temple after Akshardham Near Noida and when visiting this must visit its Durga mata temple.

This weekend we visited this temple . It was very nice trip There are several temples of different Goddess are in one place.This place is very less crowded, well managed and peaceful. Its very near to the famous historical sculpture Qutub Minar. March is very nice time to visit as this time the weather of Delhi is really good.

This is located in Chhatarpur area, hence, is known as such. However, this is a place where gardens are open to all. This temple was built by Late Baba Nagpal who felt that there should not be any restriction on people visiting the temple to move around. Very noble thought. During Navratras, there is a langar (Prasad in the form of meals) for all. Food served is delicious. A nice temple to visit.

The 'Shree Adya Katyayani Shaktipeeth Mandir' popularly called the 'Chhatarpur Mandir' (after the village) is an architectural marvel situated off the Main Chhatarpur Road at Mehrauli in South Delhi close to the Chhatarpur Metro Station on the Delhi-Gurgaon Route. Ample parking available if you go by own vehicle.
It is a huge complex within which are built a number of temples dedicated to deities of the 'Sanatana Dharma' popularly known as the Hindu Religion. Also worth mention is a 100 feet tall statue of Lord Hanumana (the Monkey God).
The full glory of the temple is visible during Maha Shivratri (Feb/Mar) and Krishna Janmashtami (Aug/Sep) as well as the two Navratra festivals (Mar/Apr and Sep/Oct) when the festivities are at the peak with multitudes of devotees thronging the temple. If you happen to visit during the Navratras, don't forget to partake on the Langar (community kitchen) Prasad which has a divine taste. Cooked and served by volunteer devotees of all hues, it always tastes as good as ever. I wonder how. Probably by divine intervention.
Tip: If you are going in the hot season, beware for you are required to walk bare feet inside the temple complex. So be prepared to take the 'Heat Treatment'. But if you go with true devotion, trust me, you'll not feel anything and you will be fine in the end.

Inside it is not allowed. but yeah outside premises, there are lot many eateries and spaces to have your food or beverages.
