A place that you see frequently on TV, I felt lucky to visit it during our trip to New Delhi. It is better to visit during late afternoon, and doesn't require much time. It can be coupled easily with India Gate. The buildings are massive and emit a sense of power. A unique attraction, found nowhere else in India.

My wife and I visited the Rajpath during a tour of Delhi. It is royal mall and the hub of New Delhi. The Rajpath is a wide avenue, flanked by gardens and fountains and is the scene of the annual Republic Day celebrations on 26 January. It was designed by British architect Edwin Lutyens in 1921 and is surrounded by... More

This is the pathway to Rastrapathi Bhavan or President's place, Yes its just another road but a road of prime importance. You dont need any special time for it. A leisurely stroll along the road till the security allows is good. Be careful while taking photos and keep an eye for No photography boards around, if there, don't even attempt... More

Very Beautiful place, Rajpath is a ceremonial boulevard in New Delhi, India, that runs from Rashtrapati Bhavan on Raisina Hill through Vijay Chowk and India Gate to National Stadium, visiting of this place was very exciting for me as well as my wife too.

A stunning area and setting but looking a little tired, please spend a little mohey making this look even more impressive. The lakes particularly need some money spent. Still very well worth seeing, very few cities can boast such an impressive area and site.
