This museum isn't great by international standards, but you will enjoy it if you are a history buff and especially if you are into ancient Indian history.

Wonderful place to know our history and ancientness. We also felt pride on our rich culture. Really we are offspring of great civilisation. Huge collection, well maintained and properly illustrated, displayed. Requires 5-6 hours for proper visit.

Yes of course, there are objects from Harappa Mohenjodaro till the 19th century here.. A proper visit of the National Museum requires at least a full day if not more....
