There were even monkeys in this market, which was a surprise. We took a rickshaw ride and even the experienced rider had trouble keeping out of the way of the motorbikes and people trying to walk around. We were there quite early in the morning,...More

This is a must do experience in Delhi. It's overcrowded, noisy and there are so many colors around that you feel overwhelmed. I recommend going with a local so that if you want to buy something, you will have higher chances of negotiating the price....More

This extremely crowded market is certainly worth a visit, but you have to be equipped with an open mind and enough time to spend. The traffic is caotic including ox-drawn carriages, rickshaws, tuctucs, cars and pedestrians, all mixed very limited space.

We went in a rickshaw touring for an hour or so and did a bit of walking with a guide. Quite an experience to see this huge market with alley ways of merchandise and food stalls.
