This waterfall is not big, but the natural surrounding is very beautiful and relaxing. The air is very fresh, very less visitor when we visited there, and we can see many different kind of birds there, bird watching lover will surely like this place. This waterfall is located inside Sunlinksea Forest area. It always have too many people at Xitou, more and more Chinese visit there. So if you don't like crowded, maybe this is a good choice. Especially during summer season, water is pretty strong, Temperature is cool(3-4 Celsius lower than xitou). But a little bit far for some people. If lucky, some... More

Not sure why this place is not ranked higher among attractions in nantou. This waterfall is located within sun link sea, which is a huge park. We visited the waterfall, tian yan 天眼 and the herb/flower garden. There were a few 樱花trees which blossom and that was a lovely sight. It takes around 40minutes to walk up the steps to... More

this waterfall is magnificent, really. it's not a long waterfall, but the power of water from top to bottom is very strong. It's fun to face the water directly, which sometimes makes you breath hard a little bit. Cause its large water amount. And its view is very different from Xitou. The land,the hotel,the park & beautiful forest is owned and managed by the owner of (Shanlinsi)Sun Link Sea itself,families,old employees and some forest researcher and volunteers.
