Heart it! The overall experience was amazing. We liked how amidst the moderate rains, the performers continued the show and it was breath-taking. Some of the performances were just ordinary but the fire show and few dance performances by females and kids were the highlights of the show. It was a hard bargain to get seats but we got it (tip – don’t be dismayed by what hotels/tour guides say and walk around the street and look for people selling seats either in their houses/hotels or in open area for a better deal) and had thoroughly enjoyed this 4 hours long show. Recommend it to everyone in Kandy during the time. Inbox me for more details as you may need any.

Amazing music, dance, lots of dancers, light and elephants inside the commercial center of Kandy, next to the historical temple.

I never saw so much animalcruelty during a festival. 40 elephants or more are treatened bad, hurt and shocked. They have to walk on chains for hours and have to face fire, people and a lot of loud sounds. They have to walk for hours and get nothing to eat or drink. And during the day they have to face the sun without protection or anything.
