Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice statue just in front of the University of Podgorica. If you are in the city it's worth taking a look.

As you walk next to the building of the Rectorate of the University of Montenegro, you will find a bronze monument, 6.8 m high, dedicated to St.Peter of Cetinje ,the Montenegrin state and head of the autocephalous church, the founder of modern Montenegro. He wrote one of the first books of Montenegrin history. This monument is one of the well knowing site of Podgorica. There are benches around, and you can spend a good time watching the hustling passers-by.

Worth visiting when in Montenegro, there is plenty of history here. Many museums and places of interest. Guides are available to assist you with the understanding of their long history.

Was shopping in the area when we discovered this statue. Impressively large, even for a Norwegian. Great area of town for parking and shopping.

We have driven up here from Perast and out the back of Kotor up the Serpentime road 5 times now. We've taken friends and family up there. The road up is amazing its narrow and has plenty of hairpins but the views of Kotor bay are well worth it. If you go this way there is a right turn at a Restaurant just before Njegusi (were St Peter came from) saves you driving Into Cetinje and back on your self. Knocks about an hour off. Its about 1hr30 mins drive from Kotor. The monument its self is amazing when you see the size of the solid granite figures and how far up a mountain they are. There is a small car park at the top, the monument is reached through a tunnel of around 400 steps leading up from the restaurant ( never eaten here only drunk strong Turkish coffee which is brill) will get youre ticker going. I have been up here in summer the views are amazing rough
mountain peaks as far as the eye cam see. I have also been out of season several times sometimes youre amongst the clouds. Once a huge thunderstorm started when we were in the monument we watched lightning striking the huge lightning conductor there's one either side of the monument. It was terrifying and amazing at the same time it was literally 50 meters away the crack of the lightning and thunder was deafening. Definitely a place I will visit again. It can be bleak cold and windy even if its hot on the coast so take a Jacket last time I was up here it snowed and was about 2 degrees.
