We really love this place, very peaceful monastery sounded by many old trees in mountains. We went inside the monastery very lightly and did not stay long. The photo is not allowed in the rooms and there are requirements on dressing.

The people should show better approach to visitors. Not so friendly with other people that are as tourists

We did a day trip to Centinje from Kotor, caught the local bus for the 1.5 hour journey up the mountain, fare was 5 euro each way. The monastery itself is a rather unimpressive building, we enjoyed the town which is nice to wander around...More

We drove to the Mausoleum of Petar II Petrovic, via Cetinje, so we decided to make a small detour to see this building- it was worth the stop, but it is not a "must".

I usually like church architecture and design, but this place hasn't rocked my boat. I haven't been inside though.

This man rudely told my 80-year old father that he was not allowed to take photos. He only took a photo of a plant right before that. We apologised profusely three times and walked off. However, he pursued us as we walked around and kept...More

If you are planning to visit Cetinje, the old montenegrian capital, you have to visit this monastery but do not expect too much. In any case - worth to visit.

Loved our visit to the monastery a real quiet and peacful place, spiritually uplifting. We were lucky to have visited before the coach parties (try and plan your visit not to be there when the scheduled tours arrive)
