Being lovers of all things medieval, castles/fortresses/city walls, etc. these are right up our alley. we walked around the outside as much as we could, to fully appreciate the size, even on the inside you can get in amongst the nooks and crannies. Definitely a...More

To actually write a review about the City Walls to me seems like a form of duplication because the only area where you can actually access the walls is if you pay to go into the citadel. The walls served the purpose of defending the...More

We had only 90 mins in Budva and spent most of it in the old town. The Citadel was worth the entry fee for the views from the walls. Plenty of places in the old town for refreshments.

I was literally overawed by the stunning views when we entered the port of Kotor, its water was so flat the houses were a mirror image in the water with stunning backdrops. The old town was lovely but very, very busy. There is a lot of...More

It’s doing what it’s supposed to do and what it’s always done, it’s protecting the old town! This time from the developments happening in its surroundings. Pass by it or pass through it, some way some how you’d appreciate it.

As with so much of the Old Town of Budva this is a lovely area to view the surroundings. Its not somewhere where you would spend a lot of time but it is very picturesque

It is quite hot in Budva in August. Some 30 degrees or even more. But don't worry the rate of moisture is not such high.
