Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I felt like I got to experience something special going here. I could have spend the day looking at every brick on the wall wondering who built it, who tried to climb up it when invading. I will be back for sure.

The fortress wall dates back to the 9th century and we built as a protective shield for the city. Fast forward to the 21st century and they are still standing proud, strong and beautiful and adds unique less to this UNESCO protected city.
The walls are truly a work of art with the backdrop of the waters behind give it a perfect photo backdrop for any photo shoot. It is a must see site.

Small streets, great shops, and don t forget To take a look for citadel inside. The prices at coffee shops this octomber are around 1.20 -1.80 euro per 1 coffee. Most of them not all products from the menu because season is end. But also are a lot of tourists. Deserve the visit

Charming old town. There is a seemingly endless maze of alleyways with tucked-away boutiques and restaurants, cafes, and bars. You must visit the museum, views are amazing and the buildings are exceptionally well-preserved.

Love these type of historical walls built many centuries ago to protect cities around Europe and balkans.

These walls are very formidable and certainly built to keep invaders out.

Take the walk along the walls very interesting and really nice views overlooking the ocean.

Pretty nice walk. Pay attention, unlike Dubrovnik where the walk on the walls is circular, here you can walk to a dead end and then go back the way you came. The entry point is on the plateau in front of the Citadel, at the end near the sea. The ticket is 2 euros.

A charming old town which is on a smaller scale than nearby Kotor (less touristy). Lots of narrow lanes to explore with a lot of tourist shops/restaurants to while away your time. Give yourself 3 - 4 hours to explore including having a relaxing meal.

For €2 you can walk the walls and get great views of the old town and surrounding area. It’s not strenuous and gives you insight to the area

Heavily influenced by the Venietians, if there was water you would believe you were in Venice.
Pizza stops and ice cream parlours along with quaint bars. Lots of chic boutiques and the souvenir shops for all to visit surrounded by amazing architecture. A must visit.
