Dragomirna Monstaries one of the hidden gems of Bucovina. A unique monastery due to its architecture: the ratio between hight and width is so high that is almost unbelievable that the construction didn't colapse. Beautiful elements of stonecraft. It is worth a detour.

This monastery is a must-see, although it is a bit away from the rest of Bucovina's monasteries. Impressive walls and painting! Well preserved and nice hospitality from the nuns.

Dragomirna, less known and visited than UNESCO WHL monasteries, is situated just a few kilometres from Suceava. Heavy fortified, with the tallest medieval church from Bucovina, has nice frescoes and a small but beautiful museum.

Built in 1609, the monastery is fabulos. The architecture is impressing and also the paintings inside. You can find also natural medicines prepared by the nuns at the small shop inside. Don't miss it if you visit Bucovina area.

The peaceful feeling that generate it is priceless! Because of the short distance frm Suceava, about 10 km, it is deffinetely a must when in the area!!! Just superb with its peceful lake and forest. The nearby village as a background, priceless!
