This monastery is located on Galata Hill. The panorama from here is beautiful, but are few dry trees which blocks the view. The church, tower and walls are from XVI century and they are in the list of historical monuments in Romania.
I briefly visited this monastery with my husband and I very much enjoyed walking the grounds, looking at the scenic view of the city bellow. The monastery itself us gorgeous and has some 500 years old decor and ceiling paintings that must be seen.
