Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A beautiful river and an exciting experience rafting on the Urubamba River. The rafting was booked through our tour and our guide was excellent. What a lovely part of the world!

What a beautiful area. The river canyon, fall, and "road". I rode dirt bike from from Huanuco to Pucallpa. A good ride but a trying one with road condition and those agreesive Peruvian drivers. I traveled with a small group in pickups and a van. This region is simply beautiful with very few tourist, at least American tourist.

We experienced the Urubamba River both on our train trip from Cusco to Aguas Calientes,, walking along a beautiful riverside park in Aguas Calientes, and the view from our hotel room. As you go down the river, you see fast water, deep canyons, and occasional Inca ruins and terraces. The further down you go, the more lush it becomes. Out hotel was just on the north side of Aguas Calientes. Here there is lush vegetation, plunging mountains, and tropical flowers replete with happy hummingbirds. Loved sitting on the deck our hotel room, listening to the river and watching the shifting light on the water and mountains, a zen moment.
