It is a nice place to sit and enjoy the city. Lots of ambulantes and children playing. It is a good starting point to look for something fun to do.

Wel kept square in the centre of Huaraz. Not much going on. They are building a church on the square.

A fairly standard plaza but I enjoyed sitting for a while to watch the goings on. This included a woman walking an alpaca around.

Its a regular square, pretty much like all those in South American cities. Its a great spot to sit in the warm sun and enjoy the morning light.

This is your standard plaza that you see in every city in very country in South and Central America. I used it to sit down, people watch and read some books. I have seen better, I have seen worse.
