A must see if you happen to be in Agadez! Very interesting also because the old houses are still inhabited by the original owners who have been owning them for generations. Nobody ever complains here if you take photos. A very nice travel experience that...More

If you're in Agadez you're already well off the beaten travel path of most. The old quarter has a few neat shops, it's not bustling post the end of major French tourism to the area, but has enough cool Tuareg items to make it interesting.

Wonderful town worth a visit. Unfortunately very difficult to access, for security reasons. I have to say I felt perfectly safe but I visited the town together with friends living there.
