Nicaragua and Ometepe can be really hot. And AC can be nearly non existent or very expensive. If you're used to comfy cushy western style comfort, you could say that this is actually a rather 'uncomfortable' place to live. But, on a hot day you...More

Commercialised and no longer natural. This is way too developed and a ritzy $5 US per person. Glad I went to check it out but unhappy it cost us so much as a group. It is essentially just a large pool with every different colour...More

When on the isla Ometepe always make time for the Ojo de Agua. This natural spring refreshes. The swimming and rope swing are wonderful. The place is big enough with lots of chairs and shade canopies. They have clothes changing rooms and great restroom facilities....More

Is sort of public swimming pool crossed with a swimming hole. Water is clean and really refreshing. It is set up for visitors/tourists so you can order food or drink poolside, but it has great local flair.

It is an outdoor swimming pool, nothing more than that. 5 dollars entrance too steep for this pool. Coconuts are nice though!

Probably would have been nice years ago but it is so full of people it is hard to get anywhere to sit that isn't covered in annoying flies. Loud music.

It is a very scenic spot, but not really undiscovered... many many people while we were here. They were also making new buildings, so it was noisy.

Hi Brenda, yes there are lockers with enough room for your laptop and small things. They did not charge me for using them unless you loose the key.
