A trip here was part of our day away from Marrakech. Wasn't sure wandering around a studio lot in the rain was going to be much fun, but being a movie buff I found it interesting. The Egyptian hypostyle Hall was impressive but I challenge anyone to translate the hieroglyphs! Don't forget expect Universal Studios here. You have to use... More

After lunch, we headed to the Atlas Movie Studio and the plaza. Imagine Morocco as a destination for filming for many famous big movies. Indeed it is. The studio was filled with artifacts , relics and items used for Egyptian movies theme and others. I think the guide said they no longer use these items but I could not remember... More

It was an old studio. Do not expect too much. I was expecting a universal studio in LA. But it it was not. There were some sets to see and we took pictures. that all. If you have enough time it was ok. but do not expect too much. its an old sets.

You would be amazed at the movies that had scenes shot on this set. Movies and movie scenes that you thought were shot in Tibet, Egypt and other places were filmed here. This company is owned by Dino de Laurentis, so that should tell you something.

What fun! Totally surreal experience. A most convincing polystyrene Ancient Egypt meets Game of Thrones and more. A working location with a desert surround. Refreshingly batty, and all the more so for an entertaining guide.Do it.

Remember one thing . Your tour guide or driver usually doesn't suggest this place or cla studios..even though it is far far better than than the museum of film memorablia..simply coz it takes time and they are on time limit ..plus comissioned places. Be firm about places u want to see and mention to them prior instead of getting shocks... More

If you're looking for an American style movie studio then this isn't for you. Having said that, it was a great hour wandering around the sets of scenes from many films that we've seen. They are sets however, in other words, false buildings made of wood, plaster and polystyrene. The guide didn't rush us and was very knowledgable about the... More

Don't think Orlando's Universal Studios. This is a much more simple place, but it worths the time to visit.

Studios for teens to adults. Can bring children but may be less interested. Was cool to see all the different sets used in so many well-known movies. I enjoyed my visit.

The reviews here are mixed, if you are into movies and love Egyptian and antique stuffs, this studio is actually quite worth a visit. It is a very big studio and gave you a different feel. Ask for Mohamed Elhajoe as your guide, he is very nice and can take many beautiful pictures for you. We spent about 2 hours... More
