Visiting the desert of Merzouga and sleep overnight is one the best experiences I have ever had. The trip from Marrakech is long, 9 hours driving aprox. There is nothing else than sand dunes, so staying at the camp in the middle of the desert...More

As part of our family's trip to Morocco, we scheduled a visit to the town of Merzouga and used it as our starting point for a camel excursion and desert camping experience. Although I'm typically not an early riser, it was well worth the chill...More

Really big sand dunes and beautiful colours. If you have never been to the desert this is one to see, especially if you are able to do it by camel back.

A night in the desert I will never forget. I'm not sure it was on my bucket list but when the opportunity presented itself I took it and so glad I did. Just do it!

At least a Camel ride must be Taken. The night in the desert may be better in middle seasons. We went in december at it was freezing. In My opinioni merzouga is the closest place to start excursions.
