Made for an entertaining step backwards in time. A guided walking tour would add context to the visual experince. A great introduction to traditional Moroccan lifestyle.

I was blown away in Chefchaouen. The blue is addictive and seductive and pulls you in! There is every shade but they all meld into this amazing, flowing sea of color. You really need to see it to believe it. I am in love with...More

I found this little city the highlight of my trip. The blue houses and walking in the narrow gulleys were a nice experience. The shopping was good . I would definitely recommend a day trip or staying the night in this town.

Spent a few hours wandering around here and exploring the shops after taking a private taxi from Tangiers. I'd like to return but will spend the night next time as I suspect the town rather comes alive at night.

We had a guided tour but with a good map you could do it on your own as the medina is relatively small .

One of the most magical places Ive visited so far. Its not so crowded and loud as other medinas (Fes, Meknes) therefore its easier to shop and move around.

This old citycenter is so beautiful. You don't know where to look. Most buildings are painted in a kind of blue, the buildings are old. You can make beautiful foto's.

This city is a photographer’s dream, with scenic alleyways and vendor displays of brightly colored scarves, blankets and clothing. The leather goods are finely made, as are the artist’s wares. The people are friendly and helpful, with few hassles or aggressive exchanges. The plaques on...More

Hello Ana, In my opinion, I think you should stay only in Chefchaouen cause there is nothing to do in Tangiers. It takes about 3 hours by bus and about 2 hours by taxi from Tangier to Chefchaouen. 1, By bus: From Tangiers's... More
