Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Monument to Aviators is situated in 60 Years of October Square in the Eastern suburbs of the city, it is 2 miles from the centre of Tiraspol but totally worth the walk to see the MiG-19 fighter on top of the memorial base. The monument was completed in 1975 to commemorate the pilots of the 17th Air Army who liberated the city of Tiraspol in 1944 as part of the 3rd Ukrainian Front. There are a lot of unique sights in Transnistria to be seen and the Monument to Aviators is one of those that is worth a visit whilst in the state.

This monument to Soviet Aviators is located quite a distance from the centre of Tiraspol. I walked there and back, but it took around 30 mins each way. Probably would have been more efficient to take a taxi or bus. The monument itself is in a residential area and locals are busy playing in the vicinity.

I was there but because my friends lived near the monument. In any case you can take the trolley bus or taxis. This was how I moved around Tiraspol (because I said some people writing that it was one hour walk).

One of my favorite gems of our capital city, constructed in 1975. Impressive square with pine trees around, pigeons and all, we love to go there with our son.

If I haven't been guided by a local student, I would never have found it....Very Soviet, but something that perfectly fits into Tiraspol!

If so, i think the address of the attraction should be changed too. It is about 1h walk from the center, so I'm not sure if there is apoint of going there just for a plane. Maybe, if you are not on a day trip in Transnistria and if you came with your own transportation.

This monument is way out of the city center, but I was in the mood for a long walk so it worked out for me :) I don't think it gets many visitors, because everyone in the area watched as I pulled out my camera to take a photo.

The MiG-19 interceptor fighter is installed in the Aviators Square in the city of Tiraspol (beam).
On the stele there is a real airplane from the times of the USSR. The place is very comfortable and attracts local youth, mothers with children. Nearby there are shopping centers and a cozy store.
On the alley you can sit with friends on a bench and keep an eye on your children. There is a place to buy goodies and fresh aromatic coffee.
