Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We drove there, and decided not to get down. Temple was located in the middle of a large cemetary, and looks like a cemetary temple. Not really a place I would like to spend my time at. But, for tourist who are really interested in taoist temples, maybe you could try this

Beautiful and quite a moving experience. It is a very peaceful place in the middle of a busy town, the carved, painted doors and wall hangings are amazing given the age. Well worth a stop.

The temple is not easy to access unless you are driving else you might have a hard time to trying to get a transport back to hotel. The place is super quiet, not many cars pass by, and cemeteries at both side of the temple, quite scary for me.

This temple is a little way out of the city centre but worth a look.

I am a frequent visitor here.
It has some Taoist God sculptures on the entrance. Some are very scary looking.
Also outside are the furnaces for burning paper funerary goods as offerings ( money, cars, houses).
Shrines to burn incense are dotted about the whole area.
Once inside is the communal area where families wait after making food offerings for their deceased loved ones.
At the back are three large shrine areas and little nooks were the deceased ashes are placed, each with a photo and inscription.
Then outside and look at some of the magnificent mausoleums in the cemetery.

The caretaker is a friendly guy who will let you wander in peace.
TOP TIP: Visit at one of the Chinese festivals for maximum visual impact.
