Very Cool Beach! Saw this beach at low tide so it was an almost dry lagoon. Very clean and just a inch or so of water at low tide. Many people having fun and the kayaks were waiting for high tide I think. All in all, a nice beach. Oh, and the food court at the center of the beach rocks! Will do that in a different review but no need to bring grub. Cheers!

We unforenately visited on a rainy morning. We went there not so much for a beach visit, but to visit the ecopark nearby (Tajung Tuan). It was low tide which made it ideal for Kids to play in the little Pools this created. One could walk up to 100 meters to the seashore. When We came back in the afternoon, the sun was shining and it was high tide. Now the beach was pretty full with local families. There were subboards to rent, bananasfloats behind motorboats. Beatifull and fun place to be. There are public toilets and a little foodcourt for food & drinks. You can also rent small tents so you can sit in the shade. Perfect for a nice day at the beach!

The blue lagoon in Port Dickson is one of the better beaches. Water is clearer and cleaner here. When we were there, the sun was just setting. Not many people about. We had a nice time strolling along the beach.

The day and time we arrived was low tide and school holidays so it was packed with people.
It really didn't look appealing with the amount of people there so we decided to give it a miss.
Maybe at other times of the year it is worth stopping.

Beautiful beach. Not crowded as went during Ramadan. Clean and quiet. A couple of food stalls available from 11am onwards. Tide gets very low about noon onwards. Best to go in the mornings.

Avoid! Dirty and crowded. Not worth the drive at all. Nothing like the photos so dont waste time. We didn't expect crystal clear blue waters but oily sand and litter is too much to stand

Came here 3 times this year, location a bit secluded with not that long of a beach but no water sports.
The water during our visit on April and November (both on weekdays) was clear, I actually could not believe there is such place in PD.
However our last visit last Saturday; 23-Dec Saturday, the water was not as clear as previously and a there were quite a bit of trash as well in the water. I think it's due to the strong wind on the day.
Anyway, this is my preferred beach when visiting PD. And it is also near the Cowboy Place for simple yet delicious lunch

Beach is suitable for kids as it is shallow. This beach get very crowded on weekends. People come here for picnic and camping. Parking spot is limited.
Toilet is available but crowded. Food stalls is available.

Nice beach on road to Cape Rachado. Less crowded that Teluk kemang and better water quality but still some crowds on the weekend.

Brought the whole clan to PD for a beach outing . Stayed in one of the bungalows - which was nice as we could do barbecue in the evening. The beach was nice but the water wasn't. I was a bit disappointed as the water was shallow and not so clean for one to jump in into . On land it was better. So we stayed on dry land .

Should be no problem as long as you keep the beach clean.

Is it accessable by public? And can we bring our own tent for the sake of shade from the sun?
Written 23 August 2018
Sorry this is a lil late!
Its easily accessible by Grab/Uber/taxis but not by bus.
Would prolly not recommend a tent, cos the beach area is kinda small to start with. A picnic mat would do, there are shady coconut trees just steps from the beach so You can just pick a spot where you’d be shielded from the sun.

There is no fees for accessing the beach or public utilities. Equipment rental available from beachside vendors are small scale and economical on hourly rates. Check and agree rates before rental. Enjoy!
