I was staying in Nanyuki and thought it would be a nice afternoon trip to go to Thompson Falls. Google maps said it was only an hour away but it was 1 1/2 hrs away. It was nice to see but because of the time,...More

A beautiful peaceful place. Going down hill to the river is an awesome experience. Better done as a team . Very bus place. Put on comfortable( sports shoes) for ease of going down hill. Could be slippery during the rainy season.

A breathtaking view of this waterfall as we take a well deserved break on our way to Lake Nakuru National Park!

Beautiful place but except the fall the view is surrounded by modern commercialisation. Only high point we're the friendly baby chameleons.

This is a beautiful waterfall that is across from some beautiful housing units. It is a sight to see.

The falls are beautiful but unable to get close as our guide told us not to go over the railing as the locals will harass you to buy things. Had a lovely meal there

Good Place to relieve, and the local people dress as tribes and dance in front of you and nice photo op. Plenty of curio shops for bargaining at very low prices.

On my way to the Treetops Lodge I stopped at Thomson't Falls. There was a faint mist and the vegetation was lush and green. You can hear the falls before you see them. It was quiet as there were no other tourists when I visited.
