A fairy tale. Don't just stick to the tourist places but go beyond like we did. Especially the white sands dessert is so quiet and scenic it feels like you are in a move. We did a horse trail including sleepover which I highly recommend

Breathtaking
We went from Aqaba by taxi (20JOD) and we were picked up by a 4WD that the tent camp arranged.
We were brought to our lovely tent. At sunset we made a sunset tour by 4WD and a warm dinner was waiting for us.

We stayed 3 nights!

Unforgettable experience due to the nice people and amanzing place!!

I would say that if you are touring Jordan, whatever else you do make this place a priority.
It is stunning. We only had half a day at this place. I wish it had been much longer. The scenery is absolutely stunning. It is absolutely beautiful. It must be wonderful to spend a night in this wonderful place. I can only imagine how fantastic the stars would look. After all there is no light pollution in the desert. It was the highlight of my holiday.

Wadi Rum is a natural wonder. It is an incredibly vast and beautiful desert full of unique rock formations, red dunes, and fascinating 2000-year old Nabatean inscriptions. I would recommend a 2-night, 2 day stay in one of the camps within the protected area (note that a lot of camps are located outside of the protected area!). The camps can also organise a range of activities such as jeep tours, camel rides and sunrise/sunset excursions.

We had an absolutely delightful experience with Hashem (+962772645168, Instagram - wadirum8) during our tour of Wadi Rum. Although it was Eid day, he was punctual, full of enthusiasm and great with the kids. We had the greatest time with him as our tour guide and cannot recommend him enough for anyone hoping to visit Wadi Rum. He's pleasant, cheerful and has a wealth of information and experience around the area. Definitely book him if you want to have the most memorable trip...he's a gem.

We had the absolute best guide in Wadi Rum ever. You will be thrilled if you engage his services. His name is Hashem and can be reached by phone at +962 77264 5168 or by instagram wadirum8. We are an older couple and he was so careful to help us navigate the terrain. Hashem is a local Bedouin and he knows the “secrets” of the desert. His tour included plants, birds, geology, culture and more. His love for his home is readily apparent. My husband did fall and cut a finger quite badly and Hashem had us to medical help in less than 10 minutes. We were so grateful. His smile is contagious and his manners impeccable. You’ll be glad you hired him.

Wadi Rum is a spectacularly scenic desert valley in southern Jordan. It is also known as "Valley of the Moon" and it was definetely one of our best highlights visitting this country. We took 4h trip by jeep. Night at the desert was spectacular.

This was the first time for us to visit Wadi Rum, we hired a local guide and drove behind him, we spent 3 hours wondering around, the natural beauty of the sand and rocky mountains was amazing, and the whole area was so quiet , beautiful and serene, our guide took us to see historic drawings on the rocks which were marvellous, also we had some rest in a tent and drank a very nice red tea mixed with cinamon and maramia, next to the tent there were many camels to enjoy looking at and take pictures with, we enjoyed our time very much, highly recommended.
