The old town in Yazd is great place to wander around and get lost in narrow alleys. Try to get on the rooftop of one the old houses and enjoy the sunset view with beautiful wind towers.

Yazd is a beautiful city, you can easily stroll around there. Awesome mosks lighted in the evening. Visit also that typical Yazd sport in the basement, near the square.

One of the best well-preserved old towns I have ever seen. The buildings are made of clay but they were absolutely clean. The narrow alleys were so cool during a hot weather. Plenty of hotels and historical attractions can be found here.

Not what it used to be. These days it's empty except of hotels and some tourist shops. Still beautiful views from the roofs of some rooftop bars. For more authentic and real Iranian life you can better get outside of the old city.

You will see hot weather in all these cities, specially in Yazd, which is in the middle of desert. But don't worry, it's not as bad as it looks! Have a nice trip!
