To preface this review, we did not have a guide. Maybe it the experience is significantly improved with a guide, but I highly doubt it. As previous reviews have said, there is not much to see here. A few antique pieces of digging equipment and...More

This is a really interesting museum, but you need a guide to tell you the history and techniques used in getting underground water flowing through the city

You will be definitely impressed after realizing how the water distribution system, wells, had been built. You will gain lots of useful information. This museum is located in the corner of Amir-Chakhmagh Square. It is easily accessible.

Water museum is definetly overrated. There is not much to see and the explanations are missing or not good enough. I still don't know much about these qanats. But the colourful windows in the yard are beautiful.

It is an old luxurious house turned into a museum. A visit paid to this museum teaches you the way people would obtain water in a drought-prone area. Its underground spaces are also open to visitors.

The best in this museum was going down and you could feel nice, cool air. You will really appreciate this in hot day. But museum as a whole is not so special. Just next poor museum.

Personally I did not find this museum very interesting. There is nothing wrong with it, but nothing exciting either. The maquette gives you a nice overview. I enjoyed more the visit to the cellar of the Vasi museum hotel. From the dining room you go...More
