Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Best of all simular trips I've undertaken in my 59 years of life. Our friendly and knowlegable tour guide was the owner/ operator, Kevin Collins. Kevin is an Australian Expat based in Vung Tau who has travelled Vietnam extensively. We got to see the majestic beauty of the real Vietnam and experienced the exceptionally friendly locals every day of our 4 week ride. Highly recomended!

I live and work in several Asian countries. I have been on many motorbike tours throughout my travels in Asia. Wing-it Vietnam motorbike tours is with-out doubt the best motorbike tour in Vietnam. I have done two great tours with Wing-it tours and I believe Kevin to be the best tour guide out of all the many many tours that I've done in / throughout Asia or anywhere. On the second tour (Vung Tau to Sapa / Hanoi - a 21 day tour)Kevin had employed another Australian called Simmo, he too was great, he was at the rear and made sure we were always safe at all times along with giving good safety advice and making sure the bikes were in perfect running order ready to go every morning, the two of them together really made the tour extra special. Wing-it bikes are in absolute excellent condition (unlike some of the other motorbike tour companies in Vietnam) I also found Kev's prices are below other tour companies.I can recommend Wing-it Motorbike Tours Vietnam. Kevin is the master of tour guides. You will have a great time / tour.

While working in Vietnam my brother living in Australia expressed he and a few mates were interested in doing a bike tour in Vietnam which got me searching the web, it became confusing very quickly. In Vietnam if someone comes up with a new idea within a few weeks everybody copies it trying to cash in, there are many so called companies in Vietnam offering bike tours, many just a few guys hanging around a shop front (foyer of some building) with a few motorbikes of various condition hoping to cash in on someone else good work, I even rode my scooter from Vung Tau to Delat to check out a few of these companies and came away even more confused and certainly apprehensive about forking out a deposit. (as a side note and another story riding a scooter from Ho Chi Minh to Delat is not recommended think ittle, wheels big potholes, small bike big trucks slow scooter careering buses, dust, diesel and dehydration!)
I chanced across some expats at a bar that gave me Wing-It contact, from that moment on organizing the bike trip effortlessly fell into place, I met up with Kevin the proprietor and we had a beer and discussed travel dates and what we were looking for and what to expect within a week Kevin got back to us with an iteneary and a few alternatives and stressed that it is flexible and can be changed at any time to suit us.

The Trip - ,Fantastic' 'must do'. Kevin's bikes are perfectly maintained both mechanically / visually, Honda CB160's. I have been working about Asia for a few years now I have learned how to get the most out of small bikes, to say that I work them hard would be understating it, I love corners and challenging roads and this country has both in bucket loads, usually I am the one disappearing off into the distance exploring the bikes and my limits (less 10%), to my traveling companions apparently without regard to the many hazards and believe me there are many hazards you encounter if you ride a bike about Asia, I know if I had a heavier less maneuverable cycle on these tight and twisty and often crowded roads I would have come unstuck by now, the CB 160's are really comfortable have enough torque, steer beautifully neutral even if required to brake and change direction halfway around a blind corner (as long as you are prepared for it)

Kevin has been conducting bike tours in Vietnam long enough to see all types of riders from novices just wanting a new experience to experienced riders looking for something new and as with out group all the above in the same group. The distances you travel each day when looking at the map seem quite short but there lies the beauty in Vietnam, there is so much to see so much tradition and culture to take in and we stop many times to regroup and absorb the countryside to watch the locals just going about there business in a way which is so foreign to us, each stop Kevin explains what lies ahead and what to look for, each day we eat and drink in villages and each night roll into a larger town and check into a neat, clean and cool 2-3 star hotel and wonder the streets and markets have a few beers and a meal and do some more people watching. Each day as we wind our way over mountains along rivers and past tiny villages scattered along the road you could feel yourself becoming fully immersed in this fascinating country. Having an experienced Expat as our tour guide allowed us to forget about the details and just enjoy the ride, we had seven days of total enjoyment around the southern mountains region each of us came away with different highlights for me it was the special stages as I called them, roads you might read in '100 Must Do' list for others it was the people and their culture we experienced along those roads but one thing we are all in agreeance is the feeling of a shared experience, thanks to Wing-It Vietnam we had seven Fantastic days, we really enjoyed Kevin's company and appreciated his experience and have since asked Kevin to plan a 10 day tour of northern parts of Vietnam which is now booked in for early March 201M

Kevin is a great guy to go on a bike ride with! Very relaxed and accommodating. The trip took us through the mountainous regions of Vietnam staying at comfortable hotels. No rush and plenty of time to meet the locals. Thoroughly recommend a Wing-it trip!

Myself and brother were met at airport by Kevin, travelled to Vung Tau by old Russian hydrafoil boat. Stayed in very nice hotel before leaving on Honda 150 bikes, thought they would be too small BUT were perfect for the job! Did nearly 2000 kms with Kev, learnt how to ride to Vietnam road rules, simple, watch out for others and yourself.
Stayed at very good hotels all included in price, found the food very good, even at roadside stalls and in markets.
Luckily only had one afternoon of rain when the mountain road turned to a river.
Experienced riding on the Ho Chi Min trail which is supposed to be a main road, you have to watch out for Transit vans and tour buses.
Kev was very flexible with itinerary, if we made a suggestion he would oblige, found the whole trip enjoyable and good value.

Kevin was fantastic, from me inquiring on his tours one minute to the very next morning heading of on an epic adventure. His knowledge and experience was very Fantastic comforting. The bikes never missed a beat. The accommodation he set me up with was excellent. Vietnam is so beautiful and in my opinion this was the best way to see and experience the country and the People. Thank you Kevin !!

Did the Wing it Vietnam 10 day tour with Kevin. My hubby has 2 artificial hips so needs a cruiser...... not a problem for Kevin. He organised one in an instant. The rest of us had 150 cc Honda's which ran beautifully, even tho the roads were at times very demanding!
Accommodation was excellent at all stops, local food was just awesome, and Kevin's knowledge of Vietnam and its customs is outstanding.
Would thoroughly recommend this guy to anyone who wants to see the stunning countryside of Vietnam.

Kevin is an amazing tour guide. We did not have time to use go one of his motorcycle tours this trip, but I plan on coming back next year and definitely will!

Kevin was a personal tour guide (through a friend of mine) who helped us through all parts of Vietnam, including helping us narrow down the areas we wanted to go to. He has lived there for over 11 years and traveled extensively. He was great in helping us with local transportation, shopping, restaurants, and hotels!

I cannot wait to do one of his tours!
