Took husband and 3 kids to visit, not a bad place to spend an hour. Interesting and varied collection but could do with a bit more explanation/storytelling to bring it to life a bit more. And maybe even Robert's own reasons etc for the museum....More

Unbelievable what S.Robert Taylor has privately collected over more than 5 decades from all parts of the globe! He has pistols, rifles, uniforms and outfits dating back 2,3,4 hundred years old ! All in pristine condition ! An absolute Must See!!!

A lot of effort has gone into making this happen, and it shows. One man's enthusiasm for collecting militaria also shines through, now that has been turned into a grand experience for all to share. Excellent.

This place is huge with so much to see and enjoy. Weapons from long ago with uniforms to boot. I think the most comprehensive I have seen anywhere. Great visit took hours.

I don't remember uniforms for photos, guns I think I would have remembered if you could handle them, Mr. Taylor is usually around the museum somewhere to talk to people.
