There are no longer houseboats, dirty water and not at all attractive. The boat trip was the most expensive we took in the area.

An interesting half day activity: a pleasant enough chugalug up the river by little motor boat. River was in flood so houses that not usually in the water were almost "floating". Many housing constructions happening. The village is looking more like a usual Vietnamese town. Scenery is average. There are more beautiful places in the surrounding areas. Folks were friendly. The most interesting thing is probably the free ranging chickens and geese while you are strolling down the street.

The boat trip was pleasant, our rower used her feet which was cool to watch, but the scenery wasn't very interesting or exciting. You just pass by a village on the edge of the river and there was nothing unique about the village. It is no longer a floating village. There were lots of large, noisy boats carrying sand going... The boat trip at Kenh ga was okay , it was peaceful but not a lot to see , but the Kenh ga hot springs were great . By the time we arrived here we were well and truly ready for the experience of the hot springs .

This was worth the visit and highly recommended as long as you have the time, best to stay close to this attraction rather than in the city
