then this is the place to be: all the shops together under one roof. Check what you buy, because not everything is quality stuff.

There are about 4 of these close to the hotel and the art and craft work here was just amazing from metal work to minature paintings. You can spend lots of money and time here and it is worth it.

Souvenirs are quite obviously everywhere in Bukhara and quality might not necessarily meet requirements, if you're searching for it. But the trading domes there (Taki Sarrafon. Taki Telpal Furushon, Taki Zaragon), are well worth a visit, for the impressive (and historically significant) buildings that house...More

Toki Zargaron, Toki Sarrafon and Toki Telpak Furushon are the three domes situated nearby each other. Originally meant to sell different things but now they all sell pretty much the same touristy things ( carpet, spice, silk scarves etc). We still enjoy shopping there. Bargain...More

There are a number of very old XIV to XVI century trading indoor bazaars standing from the heyday of the Silk Road trading. Beautiful to see as an historical place but a great place to find a bargain as well

Along this street are many shops but the blacksmith shop was extra special. Taking photographs were a challenge but worth the effort

Shopping spots that were and are. Everything there is a souvenir shop. Pretty nice variety of all sorts of different gifts. Definitely check this place out when you are thinking 'what to buy my friends'. Bargain and you will be victorious!

The shops in and around the trading domes have a great selection of carpets, silk scarves and other beautiful handicrafts. This is a great place for gift shopping. The setting is traditional - an interesting place to meander around.

The warehouses on the inside have been changed into souvenir shops but worth looking inside to see how they are divided up and kept cool. The Silk Road traders used these areas for centuries. They are now still full of traders but selling to tourists...More

The Trading Domes in Bukhara are like an ancient version of shopping centres. You can get all your souvenirs here and at a reasonable price if you are ready to haggle/barter which is always a hoot to do so. We ended up picking up a...More
