Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great place to take pictures. You can see for miles. There are two shops where you can buy souvenirs or get something to drink. The Chapel on San Antonio is located there.

The only one of the hills of Piriapolis where you can actually drive your car to the top, otherwise you can choose to walk up your way on the stairs or a ride on the cable chairs. Parking at the top is free, there's a restaurant, a couple of places to get snacks and drinks, a chapel and some very ugly TV, radio and telephone network anthennas. The lovely views extend over Piriapolis to one side and Punta Fría, San Francisco and Punta Colorada on the other.

It has a very good viewpoint to see almost the entire city, but that's basically it. The little church is also beautiful.
There is a snack bar where I found everything expensive and with poor service.
It's very easy to get there by car. You can also go by cable car, but it depends on the day and wind conditions.

Unfortunately the cable car/chair lift is no longer operating and appears not to have been operating for some time. So must drive or walk up to the top. Once there there are great views toward Punta del Este and the Piriapolis area. There are a few souvenir vendors and a restaurant — not much else other than the views.

Good walk (4 km each way) up and down on a gorgeous day. The view was excellent and had a great time.

It is the perfect place to take a picture of Piriapolis, beautiful views, but there is no toilet, so take care of your business before you go up there.

The hike is to the top is comfortable , have stairs , road for cars , and also rope-way .
Good restaurant is there on the top , with a great view of the Piriapolis city and Pan de Azucar .
There is a christ statue on the way and a view point is made there for viewing the lovely sunset in the sea .

Take the chair lift from the marina to the top of the hill for a fun way to see the views! The drive is good too as you wind around the hill to see views inland as well as the ocean. From the top you can see from Montevideo to Punta Del Este.
