The chanting began as I approached the Wat. It was wonderful to visit and walk around this Wat. The beauty at sunset was breathtaking. The fish in the moat swim all over the place!

This temple located not far from the Historical park; within walking distance. What I love about this temple is it's in the middle of water, make it like an island.

This is really nice wat for sunset pictures. The reflections are great. Plan on seeing this wat on your tour of the park especially when sun reflects on water.

The only thing notable about Traphang Thong is its island location. Considering its proximity to the park and museum it is a very quiet and peaceful to walk for a few minutes and laugh at the cheesy translated aphorisms. The old teak bridge is very...More

We stopped for lunch in Sukhothai and stumbled upon this small temple in the middle of the lake. There is a walkway bridge to the temple. Although you cannot enter the temple, since it is a monastery. You can walk the picturesque grounds and admire...More
