Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Small island with a beach with many nice patterned stones to the west of Ko Adang. It is a standard stop in The Package A snorkeling tour. The stones have been polished by the sea and are very attractive when wet. There is a legend that bad luck will befall anyone that removes stones from the island.

Koh Hin Ngam is not about white sandy beaches, it is made of dark-grey stones that wash ashore after being polished by untold time in the deep – some are precisely oval discs while others bear intricate spirals of nature’s design – note that you are not allowed to pocket a stone or two as souvenir.

This is not a man-made island, but one of the spectacular geological island full with gravels rocks that surround the island. Be careful on your steps as you turn down from the boat or walking at the island as some rocks have sharp edges that can cause injury.
There is signage and small information board provided for tourist information.
Please , do not take any rocks around as there is a surveillance guard watching around and you may can be fined & you might be swear by your whole lifetime (Thai's old ancient story). ;)

wow! when we board from the boat and cant imagine the water so clear that can see the rock under water and the rock is so shiny and so beautiful , and my friends don want to leave here and make him want to stay at this island for longer time. when we sit down on top of the rock is so comfort and nice. cant even find a little sand on this rock. just that now government wont let tourist stack the stone anymore. we feel a bit wasted. but we still feel so happy .

I didn’t find this island attractive at all. The highlight is the well-rounded rocks that has been evenly polished by the water. Spend max 10 minutes here and then move on to snorkeling.

We came here by boat and we appreciated the quite deserted islands, the nature and the amazing snorkel places with only few people but lots of fishes, some quite nice soft corals, and cute jellyfish. We saw the stone beach in the late afternoon around 6pm and had the pleasure to see an amazing sunset. Stones are not to be taken due to the curse, we guessed that during day probably there were a lot of tourists, but we were nearly alone with 5 local people making a family excursion. We loved it.
