In Wat Yai as the locals call this place . A very famous statue of Buddha with a truly beutiful and shiny golden surface, the buddhas face in eternal serenity and beauty.

It is very busy in the temple. You should cover your shoulders and legs when entering. Do not take a picture of Buddha while standing up.

This Buddha image is copied throughout Thailand and it was nice to see the "genuine" article. Nice setting in an amazing looking temple within the complex.

This is for sure the highlight of the city; expect a crowded room. People come from all over Thailand just to see this statue, so if you are passing by. A stop would be highly recommend.
