    Boat trip to Similan Islands
An hours boat ride to the Islands. A number of smaller islands, with good snorkelling saw Turtles, variety of fish and some coral and stoppped on lovely white sand beaches. Travelled with Wow Adaman Tours, it was all inclusive with food provided on the day and Thai Style packed lunch, drinks provided all day, they certainly look after you and you never go hungry. Amazing coconut Ice Cream. Would recommend the day trip even the teenagers enjoyed it.

    Beautiful unspoilt location
What a beautiful place to visit. We travelled by speedboat as part of a large group and visited the Similian Islands. Not sure I'd re-visit as it's one of those places once you've seen you don't need to re-visit due to distance and also it's kind of a tourist attraction. Sand is like flour it's so fine and beautiful and the sea is turquoise blue. Very unspoilt.

    Amazing Islands!
We stayed at Graceland Khao Lak Beach Resort. We (2) bought the day trip for the Similan Islands from the Love Andaman tour company. The tour company called one day before departure to confirm our reservation and informed us the time to pick us up. The tour van picked us up at our hotel at 7:20 am. The tour company has the office near Thap Lamu Pier. We had our breakfast at our hotel and had breakfast at the Love Andaman office. The tour was well organized. The one way trip the Similan took about one hour and 15 minutes. The tour provided the medication for sea sick. The first island was to climb the Sailboat rock. The climb was about 150 meters or 5 minutes. The views were amazing. The second and third stops were for snorkeling for 30 minutes. The last stop was for lunch and swimming for two hours.

We visited two Similan islands with family using Annex tour and service Wow Andaman that provided a boat, meal, equipment. They provided too small boat for 37 tourists. There was no space to change clothes for snorkeling. It was very shaking even with small waves. The islands were really crowded with thousands of Chinese people. So actually it was nothing impressive to see and we stopped just to have lunch with thousands of Chinese in the second island.
We stopped for snorkeling very close to stones of the island. There were 4 boats stopped in the same place having 150 people in one small area. It was very crowded and almost no fish to see. Waves can through divers to the stones.
Guide from Annex tour who sold this trip did not inform us about lack of comfort such as too small boat, very crowded islands and very small And crowded area for snorkeling.
I would like to warn other tourists not to waste time and money for such services.

Guys please don't book the tour with this guys they are cheap quality and useless people, no service provided. Staff was smoking on boat and don't even know english. They don't provide any option for vegetarian people.Useless people. I would once again suggest please do not book with this people they are only money minded and you won't get a good experience at all. I won't even give one star to them as well.

This the perfect time to visit similar islands. We chose wow andaman based on reviews. Right from timely pick up. Check in at the counter ,breakfast and briefing were done professionally. The guide RT was fantastic all thru the trip. The 2 beaches were outstanding. Snorkeling at the 1st spot was great. The entire crew were helpful
There were 7-8 boats in total compared to 60-70 boats every day pre Covid
Highly recommend using them

My daughter and I were so excited about sharing this experience on her birthday but couldn’t quite believe how massively overcrowded it was, from the en masse speed boats journey out there to a ruined set of islands due to mass tourism. I have never seen so many boats or people in one place. Numbers should be limited to preserve the sea life which was beautiful but could be amazing. We saw one turtle because we moved away from the heaving mass of people bobbing up and down in the water with their life jackets on. We opted for snorkels and flippers otherwise why would you want to go there specifically. You can mindlessly bob up and down in the water almost anywhere. A Russian guide we met said the place had been so spoilt by the hundreds and hundreds of people visiting every day and that only a few years earlier, you would have been able to sight many turtles and other beautiful sea life. Humans once more ruining our beautiful planet.

My review is for the Island, the ocean, the beaches - Everything was just perfect!! Even though we weren’t super lucky with the weather, the place just look like heaven. As an environmentalist O was really happy to see and read about the efforts Thailand authorities are putting to keep this place preserved. This is a MUST GO!

Went at a time when covid restrictions and probably a good time to go as not too many tourists. Heard that these islands are so overcrowded normally.
Disappointed with the snorkelling as most of coral is dead and not much sea life as a result. Several years ago I can imagine that these island were beautiful but tourism has impacted. Such a shame. Still worth a visit and had I not been to thai islands in the past pre mass tourism I would probably have enjoyed it more not knowing what it would have been like before. Our guide Emily from Seastar was great though and really made the trip more enjoyable with her high energy enthusiasm

Had the most fabulous day, experiencing all the beautiful islands, snorkeling and swimming on the boat Stingray 1. Lunch was fantastic too.
The best part of the day was the absolute BEST guide I’ve ever experienced “Pimmy” or as fondly known as Jennifer Lopez.
Her enthusiasm, passion for her job, obvious love of people, her brilliant humour all added up to make for the perfect day.
I cannot speak highly enough of Pimmy and all the crew yesterday 30/12. Thank you.

This is the worst travel experience I had in Thailand. Driver comes in late, stops far away from the hotel. The bus is hot and the seats are cramped. You cannot sit comfortably especially when going to Similan Island. Imagine two hours of extremely uncomfortable seating at the beginning of the trip when your trip should start at 6:30 AM.

Walking towards the bus behind the driver ( picture for your view)

2 sisters Tour is definitely not an option when visiting Thailand.
