The Similan Islands opened this week and we went on the 3rd day. Maybe it was because it was the start of the season but unlike some reviewers we saw plenty of fish while snorkelling. We went with check inAndaman. They were very professional, friendly...More

If you want to see the beautiful beaches and water around Similian Islands, this tour will be good for you. If you want to go snorkling and see a lot of animals under water, I would not recommend any tour to the similian islands. We...More

Similan Islands offer first of all some terrific snorkeling and diving opportunities. The water out there is soo clear and there were exciting views of the marine life. Apparently there are big sea turtles there as well even thought we didn't see that. The beaches...More

too many tourists, nothing to do, there aren't bar or restaurants. Too crowded, there wasn't any spot to lie down or do a bath. I recommend to go to Koh Lipe instead.

We took a day tour which was really very nice. Beautiful beaches but it is very natural setting with lots of creatures including biting bugs. This would not be a place to take kids.

I have mixed feelings about this tour. The speedboat to the islands was fast but the boat was very enclosed. Couldn't see anything except out the back. You can't move around the boat while it is moving and the trip takes 1 1/2 hours. First...More

We went for diving at West of Eden, think it's island 6 or 7. We met dolphins on the way, unfortunately not while diving. Consider the time you spend on a boat, if it is not a speed boat, it can take 6 hours for...More

To my knowledge the tour to the Similian Islands only leaves from Phuket. Therefore you would have to fly, go by bus or by car to Phuket. Phuket is 844 km from Bangkok. Flying time 1 hour 10 minutes. By road 11 hours 17... More
