This is a beautiful activity for a day out in Pai. Once you cross the bridge heading out of the town you will see signs to make a left and drive along the canal to the parking area. When I was there a number of...More

Lovely walk - took 5 - 6 hours (round trip). Go early. Beautiful scenery. Wear water shoes - we crossed the river 37 times each way. The waterfall was in the shad when we got there so after all that it was really too cold...More

It was a decent trek to the waterfall, took us 2.5hrs to get there however we stopped to take many photos, only took us 2hrs to get back. The walk was pretty easy walking though. There are many river crossings so you'll need sturdy shoes...More

The May Yen waterfalls is a nice hike that follows a small river to the May Yen Waterfalls. Although the falls itself isn't spectacular the trek there goes from the edge of Pai into nature is beautiful and is something every nature lover who visits...More

It's a long way to get to the waterfall, so it's better to start early. The hike itself is very nice. There is steep climb just before you reach the waterfall. Haven't seen any spiders or snakes there.

Set out early, I suggest 7am. You will be there on your own. I did it bare foot, at slow mindfull pace. 3h I'm not going to the waterfall, I'm going on a jurney. Off course bring food and water.

I started the trek around 9am and it was superb all the way to the waterfall. There are many stream crossings so best if you have light and quick drying shoes. Bring water and snacks. The walk is around 2hrs each way at ordinary pace....More

This is definitely the best trekking route in pai. A lot of nature, jungle and river crossing. So be prepared of wet shoes. The waterfall is very nice. When you jump in the water the 2,5 hours walk will be forgotten immediately. Nothing for unsporty...More

We decided to visit the waterfall by walking from Pai where we were staying. The route was relatively clear to follow and the beginning of the track easy to find. But the track leads to streams not covered by bridges which normally you can easily...More

The trek starts right outside of Valhalla, which is a small bar/hammock spot to chill and sleep at. You can Google both Valhalla and the hiking trail, but it is probably easier to find Valhalla and then go from there. Once... More
