Main building was constructed in XV century. Richly colored buildings. Walk around, beautiful, historical complex. The gates will be closed at 5 pm.

This is a must visit point of interest for Lampang. The gates close at 5:00 PM for the monks to start preparing for their evening chanting.

Stop by Wat Phra That Lampang Luang for paying respect Buddha. It was very peaceful. Don’t forget to see the reflection of pagoda at house behind the main building.

Seeing the upside down reflection Phra That Lampang Luang is miracles. Only men can step up the building at the back of the Phra That. Women can see this miracle in the Wihar. In this coming Makhabucha Day, the ceremonial blankets relics will be held.

It is certainly worth a visit to Wat Phra That Lampamg Luang. It is a bit of a drive to the temple but worth it.
