A wide, deep beach, rocky at low tide.

Great for snorkelling, swimming, sunbathing.

Try to go at high tide, at low tide there's lots of rocks/coral to walk over to get to swimmable water.

We went on a boat tour from Koh Samui it was along way about 90 minutes and the sea was rough but still well worth the trip to see this island. Very beautiful beaches with a relaxing atmosphere. Excellent for snorkelling, sunbathing and diving and I’m sure lots more. There are so many different types off fish to see and although as with the rest off the world plastic sea pollution is visible as is coral bleaching the island is doing its bit to raise awareness and try and protect what it has ......

What an amazing bay. It’s a must go place for snorkeling and relax. There are also restaurants and diving centers. Easy to reach - we stayed at Coral View and arrived by motor bike in 10 min.

Another beautiful spot in koh tao, once again ruined by plastics all around the beach and water being covered with a fine layer of dirt and occasional trash. Too bad because the snorkeling must be great, I could even see the fishes on various form and colours from standing on the water edge. And the sorroundings are very pretty. But then again, I'm not gonna take a bath in dirty water. How can people even compare Koh Tao with the pristine beaches in the North of Koh Phangan? This little island has got a huge trash problem.

Tanote Bay is beautiful and it is good for snorkeling. The ocean is calm in the bay. We saw people jumping from the rock. The seaside restaurant at Poseidon Resort offered delicious seafood.

a pretty beach with good snorkelling and a huge boulder to jump off. The restaurant owners are very nice people and serve excellent food at a very low price. They try hard to keep the inevitable rubbish off the beach.

15 minute scooter ride from Sairee Beach, Ao Tanot is a nice beach with a rocky outcropping that's good for snorkelling. Most people come here for the cliff jumping however, as long as you have enough upper body strength to climb to the top!
