    Dive trip to Koh Bon
One of the most beautiful dives I've ever done. The water was crystal clear with visibility over 30 meters, the area was teeming with fish, octopus, moray eels and stunning coral. Genuinely a great dive and I can't recommend it highly enough. Went out by speedboat for a day trip and did 2 dives, both limited to 50 minutes with a dive leader with a break for a basic lunch. Note: There are lots of dive charters going out there, all offer a similar experience and you'll find yourself on a boat with 3 or 4 other dive companies, They're all around the same price so I don't see a difference that makes it worth choosing one over the other. This is why I'm reviewing here and not on the dive company.

    Snorkeling in Similan Island
We went to these islands with Seastar. We found this company to be very professional and excellent in their organisation of the day. Food and drinks were provided and the equipment supplied was of good quality. I would to mention our lead tour guide Jasmine and her coworkers. They were helpful, pleasant and well organised. The day ran very well from start to finish. The island is still full of multiple species of fish but the coral is very damaged. The water is very clear and beaches are clean.

    A bit disappointed
I have mixed reviews. We visited three different islands, the first one I don’t recall the name, but the water is beautiful with a Beach bottom. Donald Duck bay was the next visit and I was very very disappointed. while the beach aesthetically is beautiful to look at, when you get ashore you actually cannot go swimming because the whole bottom is coral. The beach is also also littered with trash and there are tons of boats pulling in and out dropping off people. It’s a very very long journey to get there. I’m not quite sure it’s worth it. It's a shame people do not cleanup after themselves as it has the potential to be stunning.

If you visit by private yacht, you are allowed 2 entries per year.

Application for commercial yachts for a permit to visit the Similan Island National Park require paperwork about 5 cm thick and takes a minimum 3 month.

Should you want to visit before you receive the license, then the fees are double!

You can only stay overnight at this National park if you are scuba divers. Visiting tourists, who want to just snorkel, or bird watchers, or just sailors are not allowed to stay overnight at this national park, they have to leave and anchor at least 5 nautical miles offshore (at 80 meters deep waters)

We stopped at this island during our diving trip. It’s a nice place to relax, swim and have a small hike.

We were lucky to see many fish during our brief snorkelling there though our local guide said that’s usually not the case. If you are after snorkelling, this is not a guaranteed place.

Though they do have stunning sea view and nice sandy beach. There is a shop in the island for snacks and drinks.

Like most islands in Thailand, the place is quite busy. When we left by 11am, it was already jam-packed.

Don,t go there! Expensive, lunsch was awfuk and full of flies. Tourists all over, taking photos to their next Instagram-post (wtf have we bevome as people?).

No garbage routine at any boat’s. A lot of garbage at det beach, in the water and even the sea transport to the island’s.

Trust med, we just went there. Don’t go. The only positive thing: amazing sand. Bit small plastic pieces in it.

Should have closed the whole thing, cleaned it, and ban people going there. Tourist trap number one. You will regret going there.

Very beautiful places, the islands are amazing. Sometimes very crowded. But if you are not limited in time, then you can find very beautiful and secluded places.
Alone with nature, unique feelings. but everything passes through the appearance of a crowd of people.

Very busy. Too many people. There were boats queuing to pull up to the beach. The snorkelling was nice but the boats were everywhere and it was hard to spot ours. We swam quite away but found it wasn’t our boat. Far too commercialised for us. And our meal was cold and in school meal type trays.. not fresh. This was the worst trip we have ever been on through TUI… sorry. Let’s hope tui try to book their customers on less busy times. It was actually quite dangerous At times boats coming into shore when people were in the sea 😲😲

Beautiful place where you can snorkel with sea turtles and big fishes. A successful trip and we liked it a lot. During the day, we were able to snorkel in several different places and got to two different beaches. There are a lot of tourists already in the morning. A small minus is that our guides fed and played with the turtle, which is why it got right on people's skin. Even the big fish were used to people and swam really close. We saw two sea snakes on the beach and decided to stop swimming there.

First time to visit here, I can’t to explain how beautiful of Similan island.

We make the decision to come here. We stay in Phuket and buy the ticket from We Love Andaman including transfer van and trip to the island.

Raining since the van pick up from hotel until we arrived to the pier. But first step to Similan island the weather change, mostly sunny. I think no one can’t to imagine how we feel.

Beautiful beach, clear blue water, clean white sand and have many place that we can take a photo especially a stone boat (a sail rock), the symbol of Similan islands.

Swim in the infinity blue pool that is the special of this trip, never forget to go back again.

Similan is the one of must go Island the Thailand and also in the world.
