We visited here as a stop on our all day boat trip. There wasn’t many monkeys, we seen around 5/6 who were all surrounded by tourists so we felt slightly sorry for the monkeys.

I loved my visit to Monkey Beach!! The monkeys were very friendly as long as you didn't mess with them. I had several monkeys crawling on me. :)

I did not find it interesting enough to get down from the boat to see this small island and the monkeys. Lots of tourists at this place however since it comes with most tour packages might as well visit it
