Unfortunately we didn’t get to go onto Maya beach because it was still under restoration. It looked beautiful though! We got to do snorkeling which is where we saw the most fish and a baby shark!

Just a short boat ride from Phi Phi Don and a must if you enjoy calm, turquoise water in hidden beaches and lagoons. Watch De Caprio in The Beach and you'll know where you're going.

Regret not being able to go onto the beach, but fully understand why it is closed. The snorkelling experience is amazing. Must- go.

The famous beach where the movie "Beach" was shot. Was supposed to be the main highlight of our day tour but sadly has been closed down to the tourists to allow the environment to recover. Tourism has its side effects. They only allow snorkeling outside...More

Maya Bay was open for viewing but not snorkeling. It was great to view and we understand this is The Beach beach. We were able to snorkel close by which was fantastic.

I went diving here twice during my stay in Koh Phi Phi and I was not disappointed. I saw a school of squid, a sea turtle, lots of Nemos and Dorys and so much more.
