Beautiful place to visit. Place worth seeing. Happy to see that government shut down the bay and the beach for recovery. Hopefully they will do the same with other places destroyed by disrespectful ppl. Fingers crossed. Place worth seeing.

I visited maya bay several times over the space of 4 months, back when you were able to go on the beach. It was beautiful, softest powder sand I’ve ever experienced. It was busy sure but worth it to see the view from the beach....More

An absolutely stunning bay, closed to tourists at moment to allow coral to recover which I was very happy to hear! I was only here as it was part of a snorkelling trip. You can still view it from a boat which pulls up not...More

Maya Bay is closed now for tourists, You can view it only from the boat. To be honest, there are better bays with beaches and better locations. "The Beach" with Di Caprio - that is what made this place famous.

We saw it from a boat and did some snorkeling. Not the best snorkeling spot I've been too coral still dead and recovering from the vast tourism, hench the beach being closed. Personally I wouldn't have bothered but it was part of a tour.

Very beautiful view of the famous beach that now is not anymore opened to tourists since one year, totally understandable and agreeable as the amount of tourists that take a boat tour there every day in high season would probably destroy corals and the integrity...More

The Maya bay beach is closed for tourists now and you can only see it from a boat from quite a distance. Its still beautiful white sand beach surrounded by cliffs on 3 sides.

This beach is beautiful, although it was very busy the entire time we were there. It was fun to swim in the clear water and soak up some sunshine in this picture perfect location. Although be careful because there was quite a bit of coral...More
