This place has been trashed! I believe as far as the news leads that they are now closing this place for 3 months of the year to help the corals recover?! Not sure how they think that will help.... It would need a good few...More

We saw the beach from the boat. Unfortunetely it was closed, but it's not fault of natives, just tourists who were littering for a long time. Anyway - nice views!

We took a private boat to visit all places surround Phi Phi and if you can afford to pay it, don´t hesitate because you can manage your tour and stay how many time you want to. Behind Maya Bay there´s is a place that is...More

We visited it from the sea, in October it is low season so it is closed for visitors. But it was really beautiful! I suggest that you consider to see it just for a picture but not a couple of hours.

Waaaa!!! This place is heaven! The best pictures can be taken here! Good restaurants around, cute little shops. Nice place for a walk!

The movie was awful... the beach is closed. I am not really sure why the tour boats stop here. They should just tell everyone that the “Beach” was destroyed by selfish tourists and even more selfish tour operators. The end.

Amazing place to see and visit, make sure you come early though as it gets quite crowded later in the day. Ensure you follow the path to Lo Sama Bay for an amazing little view.

On the news the other day it said for FOUR months. Also as an FYI Phi Phi will also be virtually shut down as it’s the close season when they build and repair for next season starting in November.

Yes it is unfortunately closed. I would personally suggest you to look at Krabi, over PhiPhi islands. Its less explored, secluded & a place to be as a couple to enjoy the togetherness

It’s unfortunate you will miss Maya Bay when you visit but so many other places to enjoy so don’t let that spoil or change your plans. Back in March we were based on Bangtao Beach in Phuket and went on 3 tours in total... More
