i travel alone to Thailand, lucky enough to get a good tour around phi phi with Mr. Chet long tail boat along with other 6 tourists. we went early morning so when we arrive at Maya bay, it's still not packaged with people. it's really...More
Wake up super early to go to maya bay. The beach is very small so if you go after 9 am it will too crowd to enjoy. If you are lucky you will be able to see small sharks. Its a beatiful place but as...More
Yes, this touristy place is packed with so many people, but at least I still can see the beauty of it.
I am Indonesian, and for what I saw, I found it a bit similar with Raja Ampat (more like the miniature of it, as...More
There’s no denying the beauty of this place but the sad reality is that there’s never a point when you can truly take that beauty in with the island covered by bustling tourists on every tiny inch of it. There is literally no space to...More

It’s unfortunate you will miss Maya Bay when you visit but so many other places to enjoy so don’t let that spoil or change your plans. Back in March we were based on Bangtao Beach in Phuket and went on 3 tours in total through my Thailand tours. The first one was the sunrise phi phi island tour ( Phi Phi islands & not just Maya Bay, Bamboo islands, Phi Phi Don island, Monkey beach, Loh Samah Bay, Viking cave, Pileh Lagoon) the second one was the Premium James Bond Island Tour (Panak island, canoe in mangroove forest at Hong island, James Bond island, Khao Ping Kan, Panyee island & Naka island!) and the last tour was Phang Nga Safari (adventurous outdoor activities - elephant trekking & ATV fun in the jungle, white water rafting, Monkey Cave Temple, flying fox/ zip line & waterfalls)
