In to the Blue

Its a beautiful beach, one of the most serene I have been. Its quieter with crystal clear blue waters, small fishes swimming near the shore. Awesome!

We visited Ko Phi Phi Le by longtail boat from a resort in Ko Phi Phi Don. The island is simply amazing with the sheer cliffs rising from the turquoise sea. Maya Beach was the first stop. We got there around 11 am. Our first view of the bay was just speedboats, tightly moored side by side covering almost the... More

Don't bother. Packed out and looked like a Spanish beach as we sailed in. Did a four hour island trip which was our best day

The brochures for these places look amazing and it seems like an awesome day tour via speed boat. What they dont tell you is that its far even by speedboat, the toilet facilities on these islands are disgusting. They try to fit so many islands in one day and its busy busy busy. Too many people, too many boats. We... More

Ko Phi Phi Le is a beautiful island, the sand and water is stunning but it is hard to swim there due to the number of tourists. The island is literally bursting with tourists so if you get to visit early or late in the day that would probably be better.

Touristy... Touristy... Touristy... :'( It was kind of heartbreaking, this island is dirty, you can see thousands of tourists come each day :( I just had higher expectations, I guess the fame caused by the movie "the beach" destroyed the real beauty of the island.

Many people do the old speed boat day trip to Phi Phi and think so so. The island is beautiful and quiet and relaxed during the day with not alot going on. Hiring your own longtail for about $40 and seeing all the sights like maya bay and going snorkeling is the way to go. No crowds and your own... More

I generally give positive reviews on this site as my wife likes to say I see the positive in everything. Unfortunately this is not the case for our trip to Phi Phi island. From recommendations made we were lead to believe that it was a paradise island and the views would be breathtaking. Due to advice that taking the speedboat... More

Unfortunately we did not like the island, it was full of tourists and trashy shops all selling fake goods and rubbish. The people there are very different to Phuket. They are not very helpful and do not seem bothered much as I guess they have such a constant stream of visitors, there is no need to really impress or welcome... More

The island is beautiful if you don't count the plastic bags floating around on the water. You shoukd go in the morning or mid day.
