Located right on the water's edge, the Sunflower Beach Bar & Restaurant is the most unique establishment on Phi Phi island. With salas, hammocks, mats, & interesting boat seats, Sunflower offers fantastic ocean views and magnificent sunsets in a beautiful, tropical setting. Do yourself a favour and check out the island's only true chill-out bar... the last remaining thai-style beach bar that refuses to become like all the others with their fake offers, evil buckets, and ridiculously loud, crap music.

A quiet relaxing bar. Serves mostly western food with a minimal Thai selection. Nice place to pass an hour watch the the boats in the bay or read a book over a drink. Met an expat who works on the island and he affirmed it...More

We loved is place, we went back! Cocktails were tasty and amazing value for money. The vibe and decor is perfect, so chilled, right on the beach. Staff were great, really friendly but at the same time leave you in your own space.

I sat there with two of my friends. The owner came in very drunk and was very aggressive. We were the only people in the restaurant, and the workers seemed to be scared of him and were hinting to us to just run away. I...More

This was our favourite spot in Phi Phi. It's a bit off the beaten track, a quiet, chilled vibe. It's beautifully built from driftwood of the 2004 tsunami and has a lovely view over the water and boats. Food is cheap and tasty. But two...More

Away from the craziness of the bars and clubs, this gem is tucked away. Made purely from wood, really special. Only visited in the evening for drinks but can imagine it's stunning in the day by the sea. Reasonably priced too.

Sunflower bar is one of my favourite places, it's located in front of the bay so perfect to see the sunset. All made of reclaimed wood and wreckage from the tsunami to keep the memory of this tragic event.. The staff are sweet and the...More

We stopped there before leaving the island and it was so amazing and relaxing! We got to sit in the shade and relax whilst enjoying a cocktail - the place is so much fun and different. There are all sorts of "things" to sit in...More

Such a cute outdoor bar right on the beach. Little benches available to look out over the water. There are also hammocks to relax in. The drinks were great and not expensive as well. A nice place to go to enjoy a drink with friends.
