Like most of the tourists in Koh Phi Phi we booked a full day tour (600 B + 400 just to enter Maya Bay). Worst day of the trip. All the things you want to avoid: zero authenticity, 5000 tourists doing the things you do,...More

It is, like they say, a strong current there. I was unable to see any being the weaker swimmer, but my husband and son saw a large blacktip within 10 minutes of being there. Snorkeling around Koh Phi Phi islands is wonderful!

Lovely beach away from the buzz of the Tonsai village. Just 200m swim away from the beach there is the shark point, a rough reef poking trough the waves. We saw many colourful fish and many black tip sharks but I was sad to see...More

Plan to go snorkelling at high tide. We walked along the beach from Phi phi town, following the signs from where the shops stopped. This is leaving from the bay with the main wharf, and you walk to the left as you face the sea....More

Great place to do snorkelling with sharks. We have seen lots of them - average 1,5m long beasts. You can hire a longtail boat or just swim 150-200 metres away from the shore of the Long Beach (left side when looking towards the sea). The...More

Had a blast swimming around shark point from long beach! Saw around 10 sharks and tons of fishes including some large schools. The current is fairly strong near the rocks where you see the sharks so it's best to swim close to the big rocky...More

We loved so much that my husband and i went for snorkeling there 3 times. It's the easiest way to see sharks that I've experienced. The first time was late afternoon and the long tail boat dropped us at the left side of the rocks...More
